




Zoe is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever. Labs are a solid, muscular dog, slightly longer than tall, with a short, water-resistant double coat. They have a broad head and thick nose. Eyes are chestnut or hazel. Labs are loving and affectionate. They’re loyal and want to please. They love water and are friendly with children and other dogs. Labs crave human attention and need to feel part of the family.
Zoe is all of these things and more, she was born to be a therapy dog and she loves our visits with the kids. Her favorite snack is Peanut Butter, her favorite game is "Tug of War" and of course, she loves a good book !
Wendy is a retired pediatric nurse with a Masters Degree in Public Health. As part of her Public/Community health work Wendy has seen the benefits of the human animal connection in healthcare settings and is looking forward to the experience in the school setting. Wendy lives in South Orange County with her husband Jon, a son Benjamin (Prentice Student), Zoe and a very busy white Labradoodle (a R.E.A.D. dog wannabee!)
